ST Mary’s CE School won the Junior School award for the third year running and Bishop Challoner Catholic Secondary School retained the Secondary School award for a second year.

St Mary’s based in Old Basing had another successful year in numerous sports.

It qualified for county finals in football, individual tennis, team table tennis, indoor athletics, cross country and girls and boys cricket.

Amy Shore, PE co-ordinator, said: “It is absolute fabulous to win this award. We continue to strive to get better every year We say we are one family and together we can achieve.”

Bishop Challoner Catholic Secondary School retained its crown after having another great year.

The school enjoyed success in athletics, table tennis, rugby, basketball, football and netball.

The Year 8 and 9 boys travelled to the Real Madrid training facility where they were coached.

Michaela Tucker-Blackford a PE teacher at the school said: “This a great achievement for school, the pupils and all the members of the PE department who work so hard. The children have a real passion for sport and it is fantastic to see them develop.”
