ADVENTURE AS went to the New Forest last Sunday for a match at the prolific Orchard Lakes, top man on the day was Robin Guppy who caught 127lb of carp which fell to pole, pellet and corn.

Gary Knight employed a similar method for his 92lb 4oz of carp, Mark Blackmon used solely corn under the pole to net 78lb 14oz of carp whilst Steve Hunt caught 68lb 14oz.

All eighteen participants caught.

Kennet Osprey were at Gold Valley middle lake on Sunday last and with very high temperatures sport was not at its best.

Venue expert and late entrant Giovanni Barbeto eased to the win with 47lb 2oz of F1 carp on pole and soft expander pellet.

Graham Shadwell used a similar bait for his 38lb 6oz of F1 carp again on the pole, Les Humphries bucked the trend and weighed in 28lb 4oz on pole and maggot, whilst top two Terry Bowles was in his element fishing short on expanders for his 24lb 14oz.

Eighteen fished and all caught just.

Camrose AC were at Whitehouse Lake for their most recent match where Tony Holdsworth continued his fine run of form netting 90lb of carp and bream on pole and pellet.

Jason (the paste) Marcham caught an all bream bag of 66lb 8oz on pole and pellet, Colin Thomas netted an all carp bag of 49lb 8oz on pole and pellet whilst Pete Morris framed with an even 44lb of mixed on pole and mag.

Thirteen fished and all caught.

This coming Sunday puts Adventure AS at Watmore Farm Fishery, Kennet Osprey will be on Bowsaw Lake, Camrose AC are going to Frobury Farm Lake 2, whilst Oxiod AS go to Witherington Farm Inner Lake.

‘Er indoors has booked us away again this time to Rhodes, I pointed out weakly the only roads I want to travel on are the ones that take me to fisheries.
