TWENTY anglers fished Kennet Ospreys match at Witherington Farm’s Outer Ring and it was Ray Shepherd who, predictably, sorted it out and won with 67lb 10oz of carp on the pole and pellet.

Glen Wills put 53lb 6oz of pole and pellet caught carp in the sack for second spot, Steve Shepherd caught 49lb 10oz on pole and maggot, whilst Mark Parsons made up the frame with 47lb 9oz on pole and pellet. Twenty fished and three did not weigh.

Adventure AS were on their own Willow Pool for their latest match where Graham Spiller did the business on the pellet waggler and weighed in 63lb 8oz of carp.

Simon Kiefer utilised bomb and pellet for his 60lb 10oz of carp, Steve Palmer caught 46lb 12oz of carp on the method feeder, followed by Robin Guppy who netted 40lb 10oz of bomb caught carp. Seventeen fished and caught.

Staceys Match Group took themselves to Dandys Ford Fishery where Tadley Angling’s Kevin Roberts blitzed the field with 188lb of carp.

Roberts fed seven pints of casters to keep the fish interested. Keith Brown put pole and maggot to good use and caught 97lb 4oz, Paul Follington drew well used pole, pellet and corn for his 78lb 8oz, Rob Frost made up the frame with 77lb 8oz on pole and mag. Fourteen fished and weighed.

Camrose AC went to New Barlows Lake for their latest fixture and Brian Swindle won it with 38lb of mixed fish on pole and pellet.

Tony Holdsworth used pole, worm and caster for his 37lb 12oz of allsorts, Jason Marcham put pole and paste to good use for his 36lb of mixed and Brian Orchard caught 34lb 4oz. Ten fished and caught.

Tomorrow, Adventure are at Gold Valley, Gold Lake, Kennet Osprey go to Billhook Lake, Camrose AC are going to Old Barlows Lake and I don’t know where I’m going, but there’s nothing unusual about that, according to ‘er indoors.
