ADVENTURE'S trip to Billhook Lake saw in form Robin Guppy top out with 116lb of carp on pole and pellet.

Darren Wright used pole and meat in the margins for his even 90lb, Gary Hermon’s 76lb was a pole and pellet affair whilst Graham Spiller netted 56lb 12oz of carp for fourth spot. Eighteen fished and caught.

Camrose AC went to New Barlows Lake for their latest match where Tony Holdsworth scored with 34lb 15oz of bream on pole and pellet.

Jason Marshall put pole and paste to good use and weighed in 29lb 12oz of mixed, match secretary Pip Seeny used pole and pellet for his 29lb 9oz of allsorts and Paul Follington made up the frame with 22lb 8oz. Thirteen fished and weighed.

Watmore Farm was the venue for Kennet Ospreys latest fixture and with only twelve anglers participating, it was easy pickings for venue expert Mark (red) Funnel who cruised in with 143lb 7oz of carp on the slow sinking waggler.

Andy Leith employed similar tactics for his 121lb 2oz, Graham Shadwell made up the frame with 114lb 6oz. All caught.

Oxoid AC were at Witherington Farm where Geoff North won the match with 48lb 8oz of carp on pole and pellet.

Leigh Punter utilised a similar tactic for his 39lb 11oz, whilst Simon Nicholls fished the margins with pole and maggot for his 37lb 5oz of carp. Eight fished and weighed.

This coming Sunday puts Basingstoke Railway Piscatorials at Frobury Farm Lake Two, Adventure AC are on Gold Valley Syndicate Lake, Camrose AC go to Adventure’s Willow Pool whilst Kennet Ospreys will be on Willow Park’s Middle Lake.

‘Er indoors reckons the weather is too nice to go on holiday, long may the sun shine and the fishing matches keep materialising.
