NINETEEN Ospreys shivered on Gold Valleys Canal bank last Sunday, where Graham Shadwell was warmed with a 22lb carp in his 44lb winning bag, all falling to feeder and dead red maggots. Keith Saunders fished a pop up on the method for his 25lb of carp, Steve Telford opted for a pole approach and was rewarded with 21lb including a 2lb 4oz crucian carp. Roger Beale caught 12lb 12oz for fourth spot.

Adventure AS took themselves to Greenridge Farm for their latest match and Mick Fordham topped out with 59lb 8oz of carp on pole and pellet, Steve Hunt used pole, corn and mag for his 37lb 5oz, Graham Spiller caught 31lb 12oz followed by Dave Sexton on 31lb. All 16 caught.

Camrose AC were at Soke Road Lake on Sunday last where Paul Follington caught three carp for 17lb 7oz on pole and mag to win, Colin Thomas was second on 9lb 14oz, with Daniel Butler third on 9lb 2oz. All 10 fished and caught.

Basingstoke Railway Club fished at Cove Pit for their match and Keith Brown won with 31lb of carp on pole and maggot. Les Partridge's 25lb 8oz was good enough for second with Alan Wells making up the frame on 15lb. In total 10 fished and caught just.

Osprey's recent match at Billhook saw venue ace Terry Bowles win with 53lb on pole and mag. Ray Shepherd caught 51lb on the bomb and sweetcorn. Steve Hunt's 44 lb was a worm and maggot catch whilst Tomas Nojcik caught 41lb 4oz. All 19 fished and caught.

Adventure went to Soke Road last week and Tony Holdsworth won it with three carp and bits for 27lb 14oz. Tadley Anglings Kevin Roberts was second with 22lb 8oz, Scott Nelson made third on 21lb 2oz. Twelve fished and caught.

Camrose AC went to Dandys Ford last week where Darren (Dodgy) Brown fished up in the water for his 95lb 8oz of carp. I put paste to good use for second place with 76lb on two plus two match secretary Pip Seeny was third with 44lb . Twelve fished and caught.

White House Lake and New Barlow's Lake at Tadley benefitted from a stocking of Bream last week. Specimens up to 8lb were introduced, but most were in the five to five and a half size.

Two hundred fish in total went in that makes the Stacey's ticket even better value for money.
