Concentration lapse costs Rose

8:44am Saturday 12th April 2008

JUSTIN Rose had a disastrous 15th hole on day two of the Masters, at Augusta, Georgia.

The north Hampshire golfer hit a triple-bogey eight after suffering a "lapse of concentration" - playing short of the green and then finding the water.

The world number nine, who had been co-leader overnight, carded a 78 to finish two over par, 10 shots behind South Africa's Trevor Immelman.

Ian Poulter now leads the British charge on five under.
