TWO convincing maximums from George White and Marcel Ludwig helped Queens A continued their recent run of good form with a 7-3 win at Queens B in division one of the Basingstoke and District Table Tennis League.
Lugwig was outstanding with his backhand loops and shots and clearly the man-of-the-match.
Despite the efforts of KG C’s Jared Binner his side suffered a whitewash against a Hannington team of Tony Brown, Andy Stephens and Barry Carter KG A took the last two games to snatch a 5-5 draw with Hannington in a very good match with a fair result in the end.
St Peters B Richard Mole tried his best, but Minitec won 10-0 thanks to Steve Murgatroyd, Normal Swift and Gary Livingstone.
