AMY Blagbrough has qualified for the English Table Tennis National Championships to be held in Doncaster at the end of May.
The event sees the best young talent in the country, battle it out in order to be crowned National Champion of their age group.
The nine-year-old is ranked number four at under-11 in the country, so she automatically qualifies for the finals and does not have to go through the regional qualification rounds to held in April.
Blagbrough is a pupil at Kempshott Junior School and trains three nights a week at the Waterside Table Tennis Club in Southampton and on Saturday mornings with the Basingstoke Table Tennis Club.
She is currently the Basingstoke Schools under-11 champion and was recently runner up in the Hampshire Schools finals losing to the number one player in England.
