CAMROSE AC were at Dandys Ford Lake for their latest match, where John Timney ran out the winner with 48lb 4oz of carp on pole maggot and pellet. Tony Holdsworth’s 46lb of carp was a pole and pellet affair.

Steve Lewis fished long for his pole and pellet caught 39lb 8oz of carp, Paul (the enforcer) Follington caught 36lb on pole and corn. Fifteen fished on a welcome return to the venue and all caught.

Basingstoke Railway Piscatorials went to Whitehouse Lake on Saturday last and it was venue expert and Staceys Supremo Keith Brown who topped out with 39lb of bream on pole and maggot.

Trevor Matthews caught 34lb 3oz of mixed using pole and maggot his better half Lyn Matthews put an even 33lb in the sack followed by Ben Truman who hopped into the frame on 19lb.

Fourteen fished and caught.

Kennet Osprey fished on the middle lake at Willow Park last Sunday ad it was Bartosz Recki who won it with 33lb of skimmer bream on the groundbait feeder and pellet.

Ian Jones caught three carp and skimmers for his 24lb 6oz again on feeder and pellet, Graham Bishop’s 20lb 6oz was a feeder and carp job, whilst top two Terry Bowles caught 18lb 1oz.

Thirteen fished some did not weigh.

Adventure AS fished their match at Ridgeway Lake near Swindon where match secretary Nick Sargent did the business with four feeder and pellet caught carp for 26lb 8oz.

Robin Guppy fished the pole and pellet for his five carp and 23lb 8oz, Graham Spiller caught two carp on two plus two and pellet for 17lb whilst Gary Knight’s three carp totalled 16lb. Fourteen fished and Dave Stratford-way changed the habit of a lifetime and blanked.

This coming Sunday puts Adventure on Orchard Lake, Kennet Osprey at Gold Valley and Camrose at Whitehouse Lake.
