CLAIRE Bowman scored four times as the Basingstoke Hockey Club's Ladies second team beat bottom of the table Yateley 7-2.

Two came from identical deflections on the post at penalty corners, a neat tap in from close range after good work down the left and a mid-air tap in.

Yateley welcomed the fourths and opened the scoring, before Sharon Holden equalised.

In the last minute of the first half, Gemma Applegarth made it 2-1. After the break, Sarah Dunkley fed the ball into Lyn Wood in the D for a third. Ulrike Maier not known to miss out on a goal opportunity, fought through the field to take the final goal to win 4-1.
