TWENTY One Adventure AS members went to Billhook Lake on Sunday last, where Scott (meatloaf) Nelson scored with 44lb 4oz of F1 carp and ide on pole and maggot, Graham Shadwell ran the winner close, netting an even 44lb again on pole and maggot, Tony Frost put 39lb 12oz in the sack followed by Mike Allen on 38lb 14oz. All anglers caught.

Camrose AC were at Whitehouse Lake for their latest match and Jason (the paste) Marcham sorted it best, catching four carp on pole and pellet for 14lb 6oz, Mike Ravening fished wag and mag for his one carp weighing 11lb 2 Bryan Swindles’s three bream caught on pole and maggot weighed 7lb 12oz, match secretary Pip Seeny came next with 6lb 9oz. Thirteen fished and three did not weigh.

Kennet Ospreys fished their latest match at Greenridge Farm, Bartosz Recki won the event with 46lb of carp on long pole and pellet, Tomasz Wojcik made second spot on an even 30lb of carp on long pole and corn, Ray Shepherd also fished the long pole (what else) for his pellet caught 26lb 8oz. Ten fished and caught.

Keith Brown the Staceys Supremo will be organising two events in aid of St Michaels Hospice, on Sunday 17th June on Staceys venues, a teams of four match will take place, and on August 12th the annual charity event will happen. This year’s Basingstoke Championships will take place on Sunday 2nd September on Staceys Lakes and Adventure’s Willow Pool.

The Tony Skeats/Dave Powell memorial match will be on Saturday 18th August at New Barlows Lake.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, Adventure are going to Bowsaw Lake, Osprey will be at Billhook Lake, Camrose go to Old Barlows Lake, Oxoid AC are at Greenridge Farm, and if the weather remains inclement I will be in bed.
