All 20 anglers that took part all caught.

The inaugural British Heart Foundation teams of four was fished on Stacy Angling Club’s four lakes and much to the generosity of the 52 participants £1,365 was raised for this worthy cause, from the raffle, barbeque and entrance fees.

There was a breakfast barbeque to start proceedings where Paul Follington ensured all and sundry bought raffle tickets.

Then it was off to the various venues for the match, followed by an evening barbeque, raffle draw and trophy presentation. Thanks must go to head chef Andy Wicks, Marie Wallace, enforcer Paul Follington, Bato Baits and Tadley Angling for their support.

Also to all the anglers who donated raffle prizes, and of course Keith Brown whose organisation, attention to detail and dedication were second to none.

Catch me next week.
