THE first Mid-Week Medal of 2017 at the Hartley Wintney Golf Club was won by Ben Cornwell shooting a 75 gross for a net 70 to take first place.
In total 52 pairs took part in the Martin Vase Pairs and Neil Solomon and Mick Davies were victorious with a fantastic round of 47 points.
Second, third and fourth were decided by countback with no fewer than five pairs scoring 45 points.
Taking second place were Rob Hunt and Richard Worrall. Third place went to Gary and Cheryl Scott with Brendan Devlin and Roly Newman taking fourth position.
Monthly Stableford winners were Nicky Harden (Silver Division) 32 points, Brigitte Cullen (Bronze Division) 28 and Julia Johnson (Cooper Division) 25.
The nine hole stableford winner was Jennifer Ferguson with 17 points.
