THE Basingstoke Hockey Club ladies rounded off their championship winning season with a 4-0 win at home to Buckingham.

Annalise Whitehead and Fiona Parker scored in the first half through good team moves, before Catrina Bausor and Whitehead's second completed the strong performance.

The seconds beat Romsey 1-0 to move up to sixth in the league, the goal coming from Rachel Roberta following good play by Gemma Carswell.
