BLUEWAVE Korean Martial Arts enjoyed success at the Taekwondo Chungdokwan GB Black Belt grading in Southampton.

Bluewave member, Sam Stone, attended the Taekwondo Chungdokwan Great Britain Black Belt grading and should be proud of his performance.

This was the final part of many months of intense preparation both within the club and at national training events.

Stone showed a quality performance across all the disciplines of Taekwondo - something that Bluewave looks to achieve.

He underwent a rigorous test of all aspects of Taekwondo covering the traditional martial arts aspects, self defence and the Olympic style of sparring under the watchful eyes of the Taekwondo Chungdokwan GB Dan Grading Panel consisting of Grandmaster Lindsay Lawrence, Grandmaster Mark Biddlecombe, Master Michael King and Master Gerry Reilly.

The club was delighted with the achievements of Stone and to see him promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt.

A reflection of the hard work and preparation from Stone and his instructors, showing that their standard was up with the best in the country.
