OAKRIDGE GB were crowned Basingstoke and District Tuesday Summer League Division One champions with Railway Fossils taking second spot.

The Division Two winners were Railway Misfits, ahead of the Brighton Hill Club, while Rising Sun B were Division Three champs with Wessex Wanderers in runners-up spot.

The highest check-out in Division One was recorded by Academy Imports’ Bob Fletcher with 161.

John Steeden of Railway Misfits was just one point behind with the best in Division Two.

Over the three divisions there was 284 maximum 180s scored which was massive rise on last season when only 100 were recorded.

The top maximum man in Division One was Roy Brown with 21 for Oakridge GB.

Sean Read fired in six for New Inn Oche Holics in Division Two, while Kevin Divall (The Rising Sun B) and Mick Goddard (The Royal Oak) collected two each in Division Three.

In the final week of competition, Ricky Cull of Railway Fossils led the way with the highest check-out over the three divisions of 141.

There were also nine more century out shots from Graham Hardy (Oakridge GB) 128, Rob Cullen (Academy 501) 118, Kevan Merritt (Oakridge GB) 108, Dave Annette (Academy 501), Dave Goddard (Rucstall Club), Martin Hillier (The Winkle A) 105, Ricky Humber (Railway Fossils), Ryan Carr (Academy 501) 104 and John Scott (Rucstall Club) 102.

There were also 14 maximums in the last week with Graham Vernon of Academy 501 collecting two and there were singles for Dave Goddard (Rucstall Club), Jason Waite (Academy 501), Kevan Merritt (Oakridge GB), Kevin Divall (The Rising Sun B), Les Morris, Ricky Humber, Rob Carr (Railway Fossils), Richie Yates, Keith Hubbard, Simon Gosling (BSSC), Craig Townsin (Railway Rebels) and Roy Brown (Oakridge GB).
