OAKLEY'S Nicole Rogers reputation as a star in the making in the bowls world has been further enhanced by a call up into the outdoor national junior squad.
The 17 year old in only her second full season outdoors has been selected for the English Ladies under-25 team to compete in British Isles Women’s Bowls Council International Series at Bridgend BC this weekend.
Rogers is the second youngest of the 18 strong squad and they will be aiming to retain their title when they take on teams from Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
The teenager, who bowls out of Loddon Vale indoors, has already been selected for the England under-18 national squad to take part in the British Isles Indoor Bowls Council Mixed under-18 International Series at Aberdeen in October.
