WITH both Adventure AS and Kennet Osprey fishing an off form Gold Valley Syndicate Lake the results bore out the low weight predictions.

Match Secretary Nick Sargent used the same method for five carp and 39lb 10oz, Robin Guppy caught skimmers and carp for 38lb 12oz on the method feeder, whilst Darren Wright caught two good carp on pole and paste for 28lb 14oz. Twenty three fished and some didn’t catch.

Graham Shadwell’s 42lb 12oz was a five carp bag caught on the pellet waggler whilst I managed to snare five carp on bomb and wag for 41lb 4oz, again the match was a struggle for some anglers with a couple not weighing.
