IT is really tight at the top of Whitchurch League Division One, as three clubs have identical results and are just separated by three points.

Basingstoke Town lead with 19 points after beating Littleton Leopards 54-44.

Howard Park are second on 18 points after a win at Oakley 60-35, while Kingsclere are third on 17 points having won against Old Basing 55-33.

The only other result in the division saw Andover B beat Alton 52-45.

Marnell Blues continue to lead Division Two, after beating St Mary Bourne Hawks 48-42.

Town’s Diamonds moved in second spot, thanks to a 47-43 success over Littleton Lemurs.

Andover A with a game in hand are 7.5 points off the lead, after they beat Hook Hares 63-39.

In Division Three, St Mary Bourne Eagles are the new leaders by a point, after they beat previous top dogs Old Basing Roundheads 48-43.

Howard Park C and Whitchurch Blues finished all square on 51-51, but the Blues took three points to Park's two from the game.

Kingsclere Partridges beat Town’s Jokers 59-36 with both teams struggling at the bottom.

Hook Foxes won their second match, this time beating Andover C 63-49.

Oakley Woodpeckers beat Friary by 63 shots to 38 and head Division 4, although the Thornycroft result is not in.

Marnell Greens lie third despite losing 49-45 to St Mary Bourne Merlins.

Howard Park B beat Oakley Kites 41-33 and the only other result saw Old Basing Royalists thrash Kingsclere Pheasants 75-26, for their first win of the campaign.

There was a complete turnaround in the Basingstoke and District Bowls Association Division One, as the all conquering Alton Social got hammered by Oakley 95-57.

However, it is Kingsclere, who go top after a one shot success over Old Basing 55-54.

The only other match played in the top division, saw Town push Andover to the bottom of the division thanks to a 86-40 victory.

In Division Two, Alton stay top with a win over Hook 57-51.

Oakley B stay second after beating St Mary Bourne 68-54 and bottom team Thornycroft got their first win beating Town B 54-51.
