ANDY Bonner and Mike Adams both enjoyed the winning feeling at the British Masters Powerlifting Championships at Horncastle in Lincolnshire.
Bonner won the Masters 3 category under 93kg as well as setting two new British records as he lifted 145kg in the bench press and 278.5kg in the deadlift. He ended up with a total of 656kg after lifting 232.5kg for the squat.
Adams also set three British records in the M2 category for over 120kg lifters. His total of 710.5kg was a British record as was his bench lift of 195kg and deadlift of 270.5kg with the squat was 245kg.
Beverley Rodgers was also in action at the same event in the M1 under-65kg and finished second with a total of 325kg, This was made up of squat (116kg), bench press (80kg) and deadlift (130kg).
