LODDON Vale last week the club enjoyed a hat-trick of wins.
Loddon beat the West Oxford Bowls Tour 133-107. The winning rinks were skipped by Ian Laming (32-10), Paul Knowles (25-9) and Alan Tait (29-14). The Losing rinks were skipped by Norman Leverton (22-17), John Hilton (27-19) and Derek Bayliss (25-11).
Loddon Vale than saw off West Berks 121-108 with their winning rinks being Bayliss (32-11), Tait (20-17) and Alan Phillips (21-11). Losing rinks were Laming (22-18) and Tom Atkins (28-11) with Sheila Girle drawing 19-19.
The club’s third win saw a 186-102 success against Basingstoke Town. The winning rinks were Gary Lovett (39-7), Alan Smith (36-9), Steve Devonish (35-16), Knowles (26-10) and Frank Fuller (18-15). Losing rinks were John Licence (21-17) and Laming (24-15).
In the Wessex the club have gone through to the play-offs and will meet Moonfleet of Weymouth.
