KINGSCLERE A lead Basingstoke and District Tennis League Men's Division One after two more wins against Totally Tennis A 8-0 and Old Basing A 5-3, writes RICHARD MOLE.

Second placed Andover A went down 7-1 to Old Basing A with Jamie Thomas/James Chamberlain getting a maximum.

Three teams Goodworth Clatford, Overton and Hampshire Court A are all level at the top of Division Two.

Overton chalked up wins in their last two outings 7-1 against Aldermaston A, where Liam Hignett/Dylan Allenby-Ryan were unbeaten and 5-3 over RSF B.

Pete Hillman/Dave Bull got a maximum for Aldermaston A in their 6-2 win against RSF B. Steve Grove/Iain Miller and Dennis Nye/Shaun Fennell gave Preston Candover a first win of the season with an 8-0 success against Odiham A.

Odiham B remain unbeaten at the top of Division Three after a draw at second placed Old Basing B and a 5-3 win at Waverley A.

A maximum from Andrew Mountford/Mark Hammond gave Old Basing B a 7-1 win at Mortimer A, but Old Basing then lost 7-1 at Waverley A.

Totally Tennis B kept their 100 per cent record in Division Four with an 8-0 win against Sherborne St John. Beechdown B won 5-3 at Hook and Oakley B beat Totally Tennis C 6-2.

Andy Small/Andrew Simms won all their sets for Hook in a 6-2 win against Beechdown C and Graeme Mutch/Alan Seabrook did likewise for the Hook team in their draw with Hartley Wintney.

GOODWORTH Clatford moved to the top of Mixed Division One after a 8-0 win at RSF A and a 5-3 success at Odiham. Old Basing A went down 6-2 to Beechdown A with Andrea Butcher/Chris Harrold getting a maximum.

Tim Rice/Emma Barnes were unbeaten for Totally Tennis A in Division Two as they beat RSF B 6-2. Oakley A are in hot pursuit after beating RSF B 7-1 with Paul Rattue/Julie Frankland winning all their sets and 8-0 against Hook.

Another pair to win their sets were David Burrell/Jenny Rust for Oakley B in their 6-2 win at Beechdown B.

Old Basing B and Kingsclere lead the way in Division Three.

Kingsclere lost 8-0 at Preston Candover with Steve Grove/Catherine Payne and Richard and Judith Mole making up the home team. Helen Osgerby/Roger Searle were unbeaten for Odiham B in their draw at Mortimer B.

An Adam Fitzgerald/Bianca Walker maximum gave Division Four leaders Hampshire Court a 7-1 win at Odiham C.

Whitchurch drew with Totally Tennis B thanks to Emma Longto/Luis Morris winning all their sets.

Nick Goodall/Ali Porter and Gareth Richards/Stacey Eveleigh gave Beechdown C an 8-0 win against Old Basing C.

THERE are four teams with a 100 per cent record at the top of Ladies Division One with Goodworth Clatford leading the way with three wins from three matches with their latest success being a 8-0 win at Winchester.

Beechdown A also won 8-0 against Mortimer with their team of Clare Munns/Andrea Butcher and Ali Coughlan/Rachel Fletcher.

Aldermaston kept up the pressure on the top three with a 6-2 score at Odiham.

Andover continue to lead Division Two with Hampshire Court B moving up to second spot after an 8-0 win against Whitchurch.

Court went down 6-2 against Beechdown B, who had Rachel Marchant/Jo Newell-Kochli to thank after they won all their sets. Old Basing joined the top two after a 6-2 win against Totally Tennis B.
