AWRE B claim Stan Hardman League title
AWRE B produced a great comeback to win the Stan Hardman League title at Old Basing.
AWRE trailed 43-26 after 14 ends against Hook Sapphires, but were level at 51-51 by the end of match four ends later.
They won by virtue of the fact that they won on two rinks giving them a 4.5 points to 2.5 victory.
In the final round of games in the Whitchurch League, a late push for promotion to Division One by Alton saw them beat Old Basing to secure second place.
The final of the Basing-stoke and District Bowls Monday Triples league saw AWRE beat Howard Park B by seven shots.
