THERE was no change at the top of the Whitchurch Bowls League last week after all three of the frontrunners won.

Leaders Basingstoke Town Spades beat St Mary Bourne Hawks 53-41, while Oakley A overcame Littleton Leopards 49-36 and Kingsclere Quails enjoyed a 55-46 victory over Whitchurch Yellows.

It is close at the bottom, but Marnell Blues look set for relegation after losing 62-36 to Andover B.

St Mary Bourne Hawks lost 53-41 to Town Spades and Howard Park A went down 57-42 to Hyde Abbey A.

Old Basing Cavaliers beat Whitchurch Blacks 50-37 in Division Two. Second-placed Town Diamonds beat St Mary Bourne Eagles 60-40.

Hook Hares beat Andover A 43-26, while Alton beat Oakley B 53-38.

Division Three leaders Litteton Lemurs lost 46-39 at Howard Park C.

Andover C enjoyed a 56-40 success over Hook Foxes, Kingsclere Partridges beat Oakley C 52-40 and Town Jokers overcame Friary 56-39.

Division Four leaders Old Basing Roundheads beat St Mary Bourne Merlins 58-42.

Whitchurch Blues are second after a 54-40 victory over Thornycroft and Marnell Greens are third despite losing to Old Basing Royalists.

In Basingstoke and District League Division One, Kingsclere lead after demolishing Howard Park 76-32.

Oakley are second after beating Alton 62-50, with Town third after losing 60-56 to Alton Social.

Division Two leaders Whitchurch thrashed Kingsclere B 81-39.

Andover are second after a 92-43 win over Town B. Hook and Thornycroft drew 53-53.

With just two weeks before the play-offs in the Triples League, Alton Social and Howard Park B lead Group One, while AWRE and Kingsclere head Group Two.
