OAKRIDGE GB, Sherfield White Hart and Academy Dark Knights have been crowned champions of their respective divisions of the Basingstoke Tuesday Darts League.

Oakridge completed their campaign with a 100 per cent record, to be crowned Division One champions with Rugby Club taking second spot.

The hotly-contested Division Two title race ended with Sherfield coming out on top with 98 points, three ahead of Academy Imports, with Westside Club third on 90 points.

Academy Dark Knights were Division Three champions finishing nine points ahead of Rising Sun, who claimed second place.

Roy Brown of Oakridge GB collected the highest check-out of the final week, hitting an impressive 120, while team-mate Mark Hazeldine hit a 114 out shot, a feat matched by Rugby Club’s Simon Gosling.

There was one more century check-out in the final matches of the season, with The Lamb’s Paul Tidywells taking out 109.

As well as his three-figure out shot, Hazeldine helped himself to a maximum, one of two 180s achieved in the final week of action. Dave Stuart of Academy Imports got the other one.

Division 2: Sherfield WH 8-1 The Royal Oak, Railway Rebels 6-3 Westside Club, Railway Posties 7-2 Academy Dart Vaders, Academy Imports 7-2 The Lamb.

Division 3: The Only Way Is Wessex 3-6 Academy Assassins, Academy Dark Knights 6-3 The Rising Sun, The Oak Mighty Arrows 6-3 Queens Arms, New Inn Sinners p-p Winkle B
