BLUEWAVE Korean Martial Arts have been selected to be one of the eight Taekwondo clubs to pilot a new programme set up by British Taekwondo with support from Sport England.
The KickStars programme is specifically focused to provide a first class structured approach for introducing Taekwondo to the four to seven age-group.
This is done by having specialist qualified instructors delivering to a consistent national syllabus using coaching activities that are age-appropriate, fun and safe.
The aim of the programme is to ensure that those in the KickStars programme get the very best foundation to aid their progression into Taekwondo.
The Basingstoke club is at the forefront of develop-ments in British Taekwondo.
Last year it was one of the first clubs to trial the KickSisters programme.
They also hosted the first running of the new coach education programme in the south of England.
