KINGSCLERE and Howard Park are the early leaders of the Whitchurch Bowls League Division One.

The pair are the only teams still with a 100 per cent record in the top division, following wins over Littleton Leopards and St Mary Bourne Hawks respectively.

Oakley A moved up third after they drew with Whitchurch Yellows 54-54.

In Division Two, Whitchurch Blacks lead the way, following their win against Oakley B 64-42 and Basingstoke Diamonds went second after they beat Andover A 49-47, who dropped to third.

Hyde Abbey B head Division Three, with two wins their latest was over Oakley C 54-35.

Town’s Jokers are second after a 52-34 victory over Andover C, while Howard Park C and Littleton Lemurs are joint third on points, after Park lost to Friary 44-40 and Littleton beat Hook Foxes 64-38.

The Division Four leaders are Old Basing Roundheads with two wins, their second was over their own clubmates the Royalists 58-40.

Oakley D are second after losing to Thornycroft 44-43 and St Mary Bourne Merlins moved into third spot thanks to a win over pointless Howard Park B, who prop up the league .

Basingstoke Town are unbeaten after two matches in the Basingstoke and District Bowling Association League Division One, after a handsome victory away at St Mary Bourne 73-34.

Howard Park went second following a two shot win at Alton Social 56-54, while Kingsclere and Oakley are joint third.

This was after Oakley saw off Old Basing 70-42 and Kingsclere went down at Alton 67-60.

In Division Two, Whitchurch remain unbeaten winning against Andover 58-48 and Oakley B are second following their close match at Thornycroft 58-52.
