BRIGHTON Hill masters swimmer Morris Dick collected a hat-trick of gold medals at a ASA South East Region Masters event held at K2 in Crawley.

He won the 100m breaststroke on the first day of competition.

The 73-year-old returned the next day to win the 200m and 50m breaststroke.

Later on the same day he was part of the Spencer (London) combined 240 years team for the men’s 4x50m medley relay, taking the silver medal.

Dick’s next outing is the Welsh Open Masters in Swansea followed by the Guernsey Masters International Short Course meeting.

He is also looking to take part in the British Long Course Masters, which is scheduled for June in Manchester’s Commonwealth Games pool.

His long term aim is take part in the World Masters in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2017, when he will be 75.
