INTERNATIONAL boxing will return to Basingstoke once more in March, with the Rotary Club of Basingstoke Deane hosting a match between England and Scotland.
The tournament, which will comprise five male and two female bouts, will take place at Hampshire Court Hotel, in Chineham, on March 6.
It will be the 14th time the Rotary Club has brought international boxing to Basingstoke, with more than 500 people attending last year’s event, which was the first to be staged at Hampshire Court.
It is a black tie event, with guests enjoying a five-course meal before the action gets under way.
Money raised from the evening will be used to support local charities and good causes.
