ODIHAM hockey star Alex Danson will be hoping she can help turn silver into gold at the Women’s Champions Trophy at Mendoza, Argentina, which starts on Saturday.
Danson was part of the Great Britain team that lost 1-0 to Argentina in the final of the same competition in 2012, but this time around they will play as England.
They have been drawn in a tough group as they face Australia, Germany and hosts Argentina in Pool B, while Pool A consists of New Zealand, Japan, Netherlands and China.
The opening day of the tournament on Saturday will see all eight teams in action in a stadium that seats 5,000 spectators.
The 29-year-old forward will be hoping to hit the target when England open their campaign on Saturday (7.30pm GMT) when they face Australia.
The Hockeyroos are the current Commonwealth Games champions, after defeating England in a shoot-out in Glasgow, and they also took silver at the World Cup.
The following day (7.30pm) England face Germany, who they beat 3-1 in the World Cup.
Their final group game is on Tuesday, when they take on hosts Argentina.
The quarter-finals take place on Thursday December 4, with the semi-finals two days later and the final on December 7 (10pm).
All the games will be shown live on Sky Sports.
