BRITISH Touring Car Championship drivers Rob Collard and Nick Foster will be in action at the final round of the season at Brands Hatch this weekend.
Neither driver had a particularly good time at Silverstone last time out, with Foster finishing no higher than 15th and Collard failing to register points in two of the three races after a major crash.
Collard’s car rolled several times after he made contact with Jack Clarke and he was airlifted to hospital. He was released later the same day after getting checked over, but his car was in a bad way.
However, Hook’s Collard is hopeful that his car will be fixed in time for this weekend’s races and is hoping to improve on his current sixth place in the drivers’ standings.
Foster, who lives in Odiham, lies 16th in the drivers’ championship but believes that Brands Hatch will suit his and Collard’s ebay Motors BMW.
