KINGSCLERE Quails have taken over at the top of Whitchurch Bowls League Division One after their 50-40 win against St Mary Bourne Hawks.
Littleton Leopards slipped to second, despite winning 63-42 at Alton Social, while Basingstoke Town Spades held on to third place after a 50-46 victory at Alton.
Whitchurch Yellows moved to the top of Division Two after they beat Andover A 55-41. Howard Park C moved to second with a 53-48 win over last week’s leaders, Hook Hares.
Basingstoke Town’s Diamonds strength-ened their position at the top of Division Three, as their closest rivals, Hook Foxes, went down 49-45 at home to Thornycroft A.
Marnell A are still pointless, having been demolished 54-31 by Friary.
Thornycroft B moved up three places to head Division Four thanks to a 58-31 home win over Andover C.
The Stan Hardman League was hugely affected by the weather last Thursday, with just a handful of matches played and some terminated after 10 ends.
In Friday’s Basingstoke District Bowling Association Division One, Basingstoke Town returned to the top, just half a point ahead of Oakley.
