TADLEY Calleva cut the lead at the top of the Wessex League Division One to two points, and they still have three games in hand on leaders Laverstock and Ford.

This was after Tadley drew 2-2 at home to Totton and Eling a game in which Freddie Gee made his debut in goal.

The home side took the lead, thanks to a header from Shaun Dallimore from a cross from Sam Hamilton.

Totton levelled things, but Tadley’s Brett Denham restored the lead before the break as be beat the visiting goalkeeper one-on-one. After the interval Totton made sure they left with a point.

Tadley manager Danny Dolan said: “It felt like two points dropped.We had enough chances to kill the game off.”

This Saturday, Tadley have a tough trip to eighth placed Alton.
