TADLEY Calleva were unable to cause an upset in the FA Vase, as high flying Hellenic League Premier Division side Thame United beat them 5-1.
The visiting Wessex League Division One outfit were a goal down after five minutes, but then had a chance to level after Brett Denham was brought down in the penalty area.
Unfortunately, Scott Kinge saw his spot kick saved and the home side went onto lead 3-0 at the break.
Thame scored twice more, before Nick Kingston scored a late consolation.
Manager Danny Dolan said: "It was not a good performance we are just not playing with any confidence at the moment."
It gets no easier for Tadley this evening, when they entertain Premier Division outfit Christchurch in the Wessex League Cup.
