TADLEY Calleva celebrated winning the Wessex League Division One Team of the Month award for March, as they moved up to third in the table and right into the promotion shake-up, after a 4-0 win over Andover New Street.

They are now five points behind second placed Amesbury, with both sides having six games to play.

Next up for Tadley in the league is a home game against East Cowes Vics on Saturday which kicks off early at 2.30pm.

All the goals came in the second half with Scott Hamilton converted a cross from James Tennant.

Grant Powell and Hamilton increased the lead to 3-0, before Powell wrapped up the win with a great free-kick from 20 yards out.

In the final minutes of the game, Andover New Street were awarded a penalty for a push in the box and Tom Hindmarsh produced a great save to make sure of the clean sheet.

Tadley manager Danny Dolan said: "It was great to get team of the month and another clean sheet. We are now up to third so it is game on."

Tomorrow night, Tadley take a break from league action when Fleet Town visit in the North Hants Senior Cup.
