TADLEY Calleva moved up to sixth in the Wessex League Division One after they extended their unbeaten run to nine games with a 1-0 win over Downton.
Striker Brett Denham kept up his recent goal scoring run with a the winner after 25 minutes.
Callum Bush was Tadley's man of the match, for an excellent performance in the middle of the park.
A delighted Tadley boss Danny Dolan said: "I think this is first time since I have been at the club we have got three points against Downton.
"They are always a difficult side to breakdown and I felt we deserved the victory. I don't think Tom Hindmarsh had a save to make in the game."
