TADLEY Calleva had to settle for a draw against visiting New Milton in the Wessex League Division One.

In a very scrappy game New Milton took the lead, but the home side hit back as a James Tennant cross was dropped by the New Milton goalkeeper ,under a challenge from Brett Denham, and the striker tapped in the rebound.

It was a frustrating afternoon for Tadley, as New Milton defended deep and were very difficult to break down.

On the plus side was an excellent debut from young goalkeeper Kieran Greene.

Manager Danny Dolan said: "They came and parked the bus and we found it hard to break them down which made it a tough afternoon."

Last Wednesday, Tadley's game at Christchurch was abandoned with a the score at 0-0 due to a floodlight failure.

Tomorrow evening, Tadley have a long trip on Tuesday night as they go to the Isle of Wight to face East Cowes Vics in Division One.
