TADLEY Calleva continued their recent winning run with a 4-2 success at Andover New Street in the Wessex League Division One.

It was the home side who scored first from a shot into the penalty area which flew into the top corner.

Tadley hit back as from Andrew Charsley's corner Josh Drew equalised and then teenager Dan Charsley capped a fine performance with the visitor's second goal .

Drew his second before the break saw Tadley lead 3-1 at the interval having created a shack full of chances.

The second-half continued like the first, but the visitors were only able to add one more goal from Grant Powell.

The last goal of the game went to Andover as they scored a corner, which Tadley failed to defend.

After the game, a furious Tadley boss Danny Dolan said: "We were not at the races today and it was an awful performance, but three points is three points. The biggest plus was the performance of young Dan Charsley."

The win moved Tadley up to eighth and they are in action away at fifth placed Christchurch on Wednesday night, before they entertain New Milton on Saturday.
