JAMES Tennant scored twice as Wessex League Division One side Tadley Calleva celebrating winning the October Team of the Month, as they took the scalp of visiting premier division Alresford with a brilliant 6-2 victory in the North Hants Senior Cup.
Alresford took the lead in the opening five minutes thanks to a wonder strike, but by half-time Tadley led 2-1 after Scott Kinge and Tennant both found the back of the net.
After the break, the home side dominated scoring four more goals from Tennant, Andrew Charsley, Tol Sotonye and James Milford, while the visitors scored once.
With Tadley cruising to victory if gave boss Danny Dolan the chance to give 17-year-old David Panter his debut off the bench.
After the game, Dolan said: "It was another great win for us and wee were in control from the start of the game."
On Saturday, Tadley are in cup action again with a trip to Moneyfields in the Wessex League Cup, then on Tuesday they travel to Laverstock and Ford for a league fixture.
