WHITCHURCH United are down to 14th in the Wessex League Division One standings after losing 4-1 away at local rivals Andover Town last night.

The hosts took the lead through Suhael Odeh after 10 minutes, with Lewis Benson doubling the advantage soon after.

Gunner Yates added a third early in the second half and while Danny Phillips pulled one back for the Jam Boys with six minutes left, Yates' second of the game erased any hopes of a comeback.

Whitchurch face a trip to the Isle of Wight to play Newport, who sit 18th in the table, on Saturday.
