TADLEY Calleva Titan under-10s are putting their success down to a lucky kit sponsored by Southern Roofline Supplies.

The young team won the league shield, cup and divisional title last season. They played 25 games and lost just once, scoring 109 goals and conceding just 18.

Manager Paul Holmes said: “We were so pleased when Southern Roofline Supplies agreed to help with the cost of the kit.”

The winning squad was made up of James Holmes, Liam Vaux, Robbie Appleton, Tommy Roberts, Noah Chengun, Ollie Perham, Guy Smith, Will Hughes, Freddie Maple, Lewis Meechan and Jamie Morris.

The young Titans won the under-10 Shield with a 1-0 win away at Farnham Jaguars, with Perham scoring the winner.

To reach the final they won 3-0 away at Hook Lions, thanks to goals from Roberts, Vaux and Holmes.

In the second round, they defeated Cove Leopards 6-0. Roberts led the scoring with a brace, while Maple, Holmes, Penham and Chengun also scored.

The semi-final saw an 8-0 victory over Farnborough Spitfires Yellow as Perham hit a hat-trick and Holmes scored twice. Roberts, Chengun and Vaux completed a superb win.

In the League Cup, Tadley beat Manor Green Colts 5-0. Vaux had them ahead at the break, with Chengun scoring twice and Appleton and Roberts completing the scoring.

In the first round, they beat Mytchett Athletic Eagles 5-1 thanks to Roberts’ brace and goals from Perham, Vaux and Chengun.

They beat Fleet Spurs Panthers 2-1 in the semi-final thanks to goals from Guy Smith and Holmes.
