BRETT Denham maintained his excellent scoring record, but Tadley Calleva’s Wessex League Division One title hopes were dealt a blow as they could only draw away at struggling Downton on Saturday.
Tadley striker Denham found the back of the net once again but it wasn’t enough to earn his side all three points, the game ending 1-1.
Danny Dolan’s men have now gone three games without a win. They still top the league, but they are just two points clear of the team in second place, having played a game more.
Tadley will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Saturday, when they travel to Andover New Street.
