Whitchurch United held by struggling Fareham Town
WHITCHURCH United’s promotion hopes suffered a blow as they were held to a 2-2 draw by struggling Fareham Town at Longmeadow on Saturday.
Mitchell Fear and Lerone Plummer were the Jam Boys’ goalscorers, but the hosts were unable to take all three points at home to a team who have just one side below them in the table.
Whitchurch, who sit fifth in the table, are in Hampshire Senior Cup action tomorrow night, playing one of their biggest games of the season away at Vanarama Conference South outfit Farnborough.
