HARTLEY Wintney under-18s produced a superb comeback as they won a penalty shoot-out 4-3 after being 3-0 down to win the Hampshire under-18 Midweek Floodlit Cup.
It did not look good for the Row youngsters against Aldershot Town after a string of impressive saves.
Hartley own goalkeeper Luke Skinner took on his own starring role to send the shoot-out into sudden death.
Another Skinner stop gave James Baxter the chance to win the shoot-out 4-3 and he made no mistake as the club added another trophy to its collection this season.
Earlier in the game, Aldershot Town scored midway through the first half, but Hartley had chances of their own with Adam Liddle and Baxter proving a handful.
It was Jack Dansie who came closest to scoring when the ball fell kindly to him outside of the box with the goalkeeper stranded but his volley went narrowly wide.
Liddle created another good chance himself but his shot was well saved.
Hartley piled the pressure on after the break and it was only in the dying moments when they found the breakthrough when Liddle was brought down after a surging run into the box and a penalty was awarded.
The same man stepped up and slotted the ball home down to the goalkeeper's right.
George Frise had a great chance to steal the win in remaining seconds of the game, but his shot was blocked on the line.
So the trophy was decided by a shoot-out, which Hartley won in the end.
Hartley's winning team was Luke Skinner, Reece Anderson, Aeron Simpson, Jack Dansie, James Vass, Adam New, Ryan Mulcachy, George Frise, Adam Liddle, James Baxter, Dionis Pipero. Subs: Dan Moritz, Adam Horton, George Farrelly, Roberto Malvasi, Rian Anderson.
