HARTLEY Wintney will be hoping to make history on Saturday and book a place in the fourth round of the FA Vase for the first time in their history.

The village side were last in the third round in 1992, when Luke Mullen the club's current chairman was manager.

Standing in their way are Combined Counties League Premier Division rivals Colliers Wood United.

Hartley may top the table, but joint boss Daniel Brownlie is taking nothing for granted and said: "We have the right to go into the game full of confidence but there will be zero complacency. We know a fair bit about Colliers Wood having played them once already this season.

"We won that match convincingly, but that being said they have players that can win games - you don't get to the last 32 in the Vase without that."

Winger Toby Jannaway will miss the game as he suspended, but Ross Cook has returned from injury and Steve Duff is also in contention.

Hartley have also re-signed Jack Coventry and will back in the side upon his return from America.

On Tuesday night, Hartley entertain Chessington and Hook in the third round of the Challenge Cup, their league game last night against Chertsey was postponed.
