HARTLEY Wintney got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory away at Bedfont Sports in the Combined Counties League Premier Division on Saturday.

The village side went into the game having lost six of their previous seven outings, but Josh Drew’s calm finish had them ahead at half-time and Shane Hollamby doubled their lead from a corner after the break.

The visitors were unable to keep a clean sheet, some sloppy play allowing Bedfont to score a late consolation goal, but Ben Dillon’s men held on for a win that leaves them 10th in the table.

Hartley are in action again tomorrow, travelling to Mole Valley, who are just above them in the table.
