OVERTON United will be looking for their third win on the trot in the Hampshire Premier League when they travel to QK Southampton.
After straight four losses on the road to start their campaign Overton have now chalked up back-to-back wins after a thrilling 4-3 victory at Locks Heath on Tuesday night.
At the beginning it looked like the visitors were heading for another bad away day, as they trailed 2-0 after 20 minutes.
Overton never gave-up and when Dave Parry won a penalty Sam Aldoori slotted home.
Terry Lock then made the game all square after a nice pass from Parry, but the home side struck again to lead 3-2.
However, the visitors were not to be denied a victory as a couple of superb free-kick one into each top corner of the goal from Parry secured the victory.
After an August to forget, manager Greg Restell is enjoying September and said: "Full credit to all the players as they showed real character to get back in the game.
"I called up two reserve players in Sam Aldoori and Terry Lock and both have scored.
"So this leaves me with a nice selection headache ahead of the game at QK Southampton."
On Saturday, goals from Siyani Thomas and a cracking strike from Tom Langley, could not stop Overton losing at South Wonston Swifts in the Hampshire Premier League Cup.
