OVERTON United missed out on their chance to play in the Andover Open Cup final, as they were beaten 2-1 by South Wonston Swifts.
The Swifts took the lead in the opening 45 minutes and still led at half-time.
Overton levelled things from the penalty spot as Nathan Rae scored, after Alex Jupp was fouled in the box.
The winner came five minutes from time, as Overton made their cup exit.
Losing manager Titch Bloomfield said: "This was like their cup final and in the end they wanted more than we did."
Overton returned to Hampshire Premier League action on Saturday when they entertain Winchester Castle.
