AFC ALDERMASTON suffered their first defeat in three games, as they lost 4-2 at high flying Mortimer in the Thames Valley League Premier Division.
The home side scored the only goal of the first-half and doubled their advantage just before the hour mark.
Rieo Francis pulled a goal back for the visitors, but Mortimer made it 3-1 after 66 minutes.
Danny Houseman reduced the lead again, before a goal in the final minute completed the scoreline.
The result leaves Aldermaston sixth in the table and they face a trip to Hurst on Saturday, who are three places below them.
