HARTLEY Wintney have been given a mouth watering Hampshire derby game against Gosport Borough in the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy.

The Row will host the south coast side on Saturday November 11, which is sure to see a bumper crowd at the game.

Gosport, who are bottom of the Southern League Premier Division, beat high flying Division One West side Bristol Manor Farm 1-0 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Division One East side Hartley made club history as they won their second ever FA Trophy tie at Swindon Supermarine 3-0.

Looking ahead to the game with Gosport, Hartley's joint manager Daniel Brownlie said: "We were looking forward to the game regardless of who we got in the draw, the fact there is now a local spice to it just makes it even better.

"We're aware they haven't had the greatest start to the season, but this is cup football and I'm sure they'll be using this fixture as a chance to reignite their campaign.

"It's another opportunity to test ourselves against higher league opposition. We've got a number of games before then so it's not our focus but it'll be something to look forward to."
